The term ‘ ‘Communism’’ refers to a social system in which the means of production (land, minerals, factories, banks, trade, etc.) are collectively owned by the community, and their production is distributed according to the creative labor of the mental or physical workers. The most famous concept of Communism was given by Karl Marx and Frederick Eagles. According to them, any socialist society has three basic characteristics; The means of production are jointly owned, all decisions are made democratically, and goods are made for utility rather than profit. The facts and history tell us that a large majority of the people in Russia under the leadership of Lenin overthrew the most oppressive tsarist capitalist government and established a labor democracy and put all the means of production under the democratic control of the workers. An all-out effort was made to meet public needs by maximizing production and utilization. As a result of which this revolution made Russia not only a developed country in a few decades from a most backward country, which was even more backward than today's Pakistan, but also the Soviet Union emerged as the second largest superpower in the world. It happened for the first time in human history, but the concept of such a high and fastest development in the capitalist society is also absent, thanks to which the real freedom of man in the society was provided with solid material foundations, even our enemies acknowledged it. In this article we will discuss the decline of Communism in Urdu Literature and will find its causes.
